Sojee Kim leads Claims at Sands Point Risk, overseeing claims operations across all lines of business. She works closely with policy holders, counsel, and brokers, to resolve complex matters with fairness, responsiveness, and with a customer centered approach.
Before joining Sands Point, Sojee held senior roles at global insurers including Chubb and Allianz, where she managed high-exposure, complex claims in the U.S. and abroad. She began her legal career as a litigation attorney, defending corporations and professionals in state and federal courts in New York and New Jersey. Sojee is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, the District of New Jersey, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She holds adjuster licenses in all U.S. licensing states and jurisdictions, and multiple producer licenses across the U.S., reflecting her broad regulatory expertise and capability.
