Michael started his career in the transactional risk space in 2017. Prior to Sands Point, Michael was an Underwriter at various carriers including AXA XL, Great American, Liberty GTS, and AIG placing representations and warranties policies for US and international clients across various verticals. Michael holds a B.S. in Risk Management and Insurance from the Maurice R. Greenberg School of Risk Management at St. John’s University in New York. Outside of work, Michael is a dedicated New York sports fan and is studying Greek and Italian.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Back to Greece (they should just grant me citizenship at this point).

Any pie from New Park Pizza in Howard Beach
What is your favorite season and why?
Summer – especially in the northeast where everyone makes the most of it. Beach days and barbecues are unbeatable.

The Waterboy
What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Nutella
If you could host a dinner with one person, alive or dead, who would it be and why?
My grandfather. I’d love to get his take on the world right now (and New York sports).
What is one thing you’ve learned that you wish you could tell your younger self?
Pokémon cards will be worth a lot of money one day.
