Matt brings unique insight to the tax insurance process, with experience that encompasses both brokering and underwriting. At Atlantic Global Risk, Matt led the structuring of tax insurance solutions, which covered renewable energy, corporate restructurings, and diverse U.S. and international tax issues. Previously, at PwC, Matt advised on international tax structures and M&A. Prior to joining the tax world, Matt built a strong foundation in law through work as a Legal Research Attorney in the California Superior Court and several judicial externships. Matt holds an LL.M. in Taxation from NYU School of Law and a J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law, following B.A. degrees in Political Science and Education.
When he’s not deciphering the tax code, Matt can be found passionately cheering for the Toronto Raptors, attempting to master the art of Italian one Duolingo lesson at a time, and crafting edible solutions in the kitchen for two discerning daughters.
