Dennis has over 25 years of experience in underwriting, product development, policy drafting and claims. Prior to leading Sands Point, Dennis was the founder of the Transaction Solutions program at DUAL, having started the program in March of 2020. In the three years with leading that team, Dennis oversaw the team’s expansion of its initial offering of Representations and Warranties Insurance to insurance offerings in Tax Liability and Contingent Liability Insurance, producing a total gross written premium exceeding $600 mil. Prior to founding the DUAL program, Dennis was a Senior Vice President and Head of Distribution and Major Trading Partner Engagement for QBE Insurance where he was responsible for managing broker engagement and sales operations. While at QBE, Dennis also held several leadership roles with increasing responsibilities, including launching, leading and growing a profitable Transactional Liability underwriting segment, and managing a financial institutions underwriting segment which underwrote management and professional liability insurance.  Dennis has also held several leadership positions in underwriting and claims and served as underwriting and coverage counsel for major global insurance companies and brokers, concentrating on the management and professional liability insurance space. Dennis holds a J.D from Seton Hall University and a B.S. from Saint Peter’s University.  

Dennis is a passionate soccer fan, and an avid runner who regularly participates in running races, including area marathons.

Fall because I like the change in temperature, especially a brisk early morning

Take time to enjoy the little things, as time truly passes quicker than you will ever come to realize
