Dan has spent his entire career in the insurance industry in a variety of roles, most recently as member of the leadership team for the Transactional Risk program at DUAL. Dan was responsible for the profitable growth of the Representations and Warranties Insurance product line, managing a team of senior underwriters and providing guidance and leadership with respect to coverage, pricing, policy wording and relationships with key business partners. Prior to DUAL, Dan underwrote Representations and Warranties policies at Berkley and QBE. Dan is also a thought leader in RWI space, frequently called upon to speak at industry events. Dan has also held roles in the legal and product development groups of two major insurers and represented insurers as outside legal counsel with respect to claims under directors & officers, financial institutions and other professional liability policies. Dan holds a B.A. from Boston University, magna cum laude, a J.D. from Boston University School of Law, cum laude and M.A. in International History from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Outside of insurance, Dan spends a significant amount of time at Northeast ski mountains, supporting his three children at alpine ski racing events. Dan is an avid and somewhat tortured fan of the Mets, Giants and Knicks.
